Micromax Canvas 5 to be slimmer than Samsung Galaxy S4, Apple iPhone 5s?

Micromax has tasted blood with the success of its Canvas series of smartphones. From all the news that is pouring in, their upcoming Canvas 5 smartphone will be everything to look forward too.

Twitter user @MMXNewscaster, who is the disciple of @evleaks and keeps sharing leaks of the various Micromax smartphone is reporting that the next Canvas smartphone will be thinner than Samsung Galaxy S4 and Sony Xperia Z.

As per the leaked picture the Micromax Canvas 5 will be just 6.99 mm thick. Just for the same comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S4 is 7.9 mm thick while the Apple iPhone 5S is 7.6 mm. On the other hand Sony Xperia Z1 is 8.5 mm and the lastly LG flagship G2 smartphone is 8.9 mm. Currently in the Micromax clan, the Micromax Canvas Turbo is the thinnest with 8.6 mm thickness.

From the earlier leaks by the same source, the Micromax Canvas 5 will have a Mediatek OctoCore MT6592 processor, which was recently unveiled. The smartphone will have a 5-inch screen with a 1080 display. There is a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It will be packed with 3,000 mAh Battery. The Micromax Canvas 5 will come with a customized UI.

@MMXNewscaster also claims that this Micromax smartphone will be the best looking Micromax smartphone. From what we can see and read, our guess is that this smartphone will compete head on with Gionee Elife E7. Just to remind you that Gionee Elife E6 is stunning design and its successor E7 too is a show stopper in its own rights.
