New Range Rover long wheelbase revealed

Land Rover finally revealed the long awaited long wheelbase new Range Rover for those who want that extra space of luxury

Scheduled to debut at the Dubai Motor Show followed by LA Auto Show and Guangzhou Motor Show in China, people will witness the first long wheelbase (LWB ) Range Rover in 20 years. This new 5.2m-long model will be the most expensive Range Rover yet sold and will boasting nearly half a foot of extra legroom (140mm of rear legroom) and a 17-degree recline angle (8 degrees more than standard) for the rear seats, which are available either as a bench of individual seats. A hybrid version is also due later next year!

 

Coming to the features and changes that will be seen in this stunning new LWB Range Rover include powered side door blinds, a panoramic roof, subtle tweaks to the grille, badge and trim; option of seven-spoke 21-inch and 22-inch wheels, plush materials, individual rear seats, 10.2-inch TV screens mounted in the back of the front seats, extended centre console and electrically deployed, leather-covered tray tables, which incorporate USB charging sockets and cup holders.

If we compare all this with the recently launched Range Rover Sport, which is the sportier cousin to the large Range Rover, this all-new Range Rover Sport comes with an all-aluminum monocoque chassis, 5+2 seating arrangement and rear +2 seats are electrically powered; the LWB Range Rover has a lot to offer you. We hope it comes on Indian shores soon!
